#7 Post 9/11 Series

The choice for the masthead page for Notebook #7 is 508 because this page outlines, according to the Appropriate Response Model, the work ahead necessary to accomplish the end of iteration6. This goal is the major organizational effort before us.
 
Notebook #7 is the last one in the post 9/11 series. Two new Notebook series follow: iteration6 [link] and FutureViews [link]. The end of the post 9/11 series signals three shifts. First, the world is moving on from that experience. Second, MG Taylor is transforming from a company to a ValueWeb [link]. Third, my focus is shifting from the intense inward focus, that has been typical this autobiographical part of my web site since 1999, outward to the work I will do over the next 25 years [link]. These shifts are congruent and developed in more detail at the end of this index.
 
Notebook #7 took an unusually long period of time to compete. There are a number of threads that are developed between the right hand pages (usually done earlier) and the left hand pages (mostly finished in early 2005). Following this “dialog” is essential to understanding the content in total.

These pages stand on their own. Anyone, or organization, working with me in the immediate time ahead will profit from these notes [link]. They tell the story of transition in the world, in MG Taylor, and in myself. Notebook #7concludes at a moment in time when there is great alignment among these levels of recursion - the most than at any prior period of my life. What the world is beginning to pay attention to [link: a future by design, not default], what MG Taylor is capable of [link], and my personal agenda [link: a testament] have never been so compatible. This is a moment of opportunity. The challenge ahead will be to reach out with the appropriate message - FutureViews [link] - and to successfully transform MG Taylor into an instrument - a ValueWeb [link] - able to complete its mission. This will not be easy. There is no question, however, that the opportunity exists. It is “time to railroad.”
