Criteria and Performance Specifications
for Learning Environments

I will start by defining the term Performance Specification. A performance specification tells you what success is in clear terms yet it does not tell what the solution is. It, therefore, poses a problem to be solves leaving the solution open to many options. A traditional specification assumes the answer and requires compliance to it leaving only cost and time as the major variables. |
